About Us

For more than twenty years, Decade has served regulatory agencies responsible for protecting public and environment health. We are known for several qualities that differentiate us from others—

  • Financial stability
  • Proven track record
  • Exemplary client retention rate due to a slow-growth philosophy
  • Scalable, configurable solutions that eliminate a client’s reliance on custom programming
  • Superior approach to project management and implementation
  • Knowledgeable, professional staff
  • Advanced industry knowledge

Decade provides a breadth of solutions that are the most comprehensive in the industry. Our expertise in implementing these solutions is evident in our client references and proposed professional services.

Decade project teams include a Project Manager, Client Services Manager, Technical Support Manager, Development Manager, Data Center Coordinator (if hosted), Implementation Specialist, Implementation Specialist Assistants, Data Conversion Specialists, Training Coordinator, and Software Developers.

We place a high priority on developing meaningful and effective training resources. Decade delivers a balance of onsite and live web-based training sessions and offers self-service tools such as the Learning Management System (LMS) for recurring/refresher training.

Decade has substantial experience migrating data from legacy systems into EnvisionConnect, our flagship software solution. We provide a customized Data Conversion Plan that details each step in the data conversion process, including assessment, data clean-up, and conversion.

Decade offers toll-free help desk support during business hours and 24x7 web-based support. We log, evaluate, and assign support calls to your Account Manager. Our escalation procedures ensure that we address priority calls quickly. Decade staff does more than refer you to a page in the manual; we take the time to fully understand your issue and make recommendations that are meaningful and appropriate to your needs.

Leadership Staff

Kevin Delaney, CEO

Kevin started Decade Software Company in his converted garage. Guiding nearly every decision were three basic tenets: give clients an open tool set to manage their needs, be a proactive partner to our clients by continually updating our products due to laws, technology, or user demands, and design the system to make the data work hard, not the user.

Kevin applies more than thirty years of data management experience in industries as diverse as finance, public health nursing, and regulatory agencies. He has a BS in Information Systems from California State University, Fresno.

Darryl Booth, President

Darryl monitors the regulatory and data tracking needs of agencies across the US. Through literally thousands of hours in customer meetings, with trade groups, and in personal conversations, Darryl listens to the voice of the customer.

Darryl has worked in data management for twenty years and with regulatory industries for twelve. Darryl has a MBA from the Craig School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno.
