"We’re so happy with EnvisionConnect. It’s so easy to use."

"I have had many years of experience with Decade Software Company’s Envision and EnvisionConnect products during my Environmental Health career in Kings County and more recently in Santa Cruz County.
Kings County was one of the first few Decade clients to use the original DOS version and we recognized early on what a powerful tool Envision was. It gave us the ability to easily manage many tasks from multiple program tracking, daily time tracking and inventory control to handling advanced data reporting and accounts receivable. While we had previously used different methods to track staff time, generate invoices and compile data for reports, Envision allowed us to do everything in one package and across all programs. As our Environmental Health programs have expanded in complexity and multiplied in number over the years, Decade has kept pace by constantly working to update and expand their product.
One of the most important benefits of working with Kevin Delaney, Darryl Booth and all of the people at Decade Software Company over the years has been their great customer service program. From day-one the technical support staff has been approachable and responsive in answering questions and helping us solve problems as they come up. The early regional user groups allowed for the users themselves to have a say in how the Envision product changed and evolved over time. More recently the web based user groups and weekly WebEx meetings were made available through the Decade website which has greatly increased our flexibility by linking the entire user community together to provide information or get technical questions answered quickly and efficiently.
In 2007, when Kings County began using the Envision Field Inspection System and later migrated to EnvisionConnect, Decade’s technical staff took the time to help us through the process with multiple WebEx sessions and phone calls to guide us through not only the initial migration process but also the adjustment of learning a new user interface and implementing the technology in the field. The benefits were immediately apparent in time savings since many of the manual data entry tasks of entering daily records or inspection violation records that happened back in the office were now completed automatically as part of the inspection workflow.
Here in Santa Cruz County we are currently laying the groundwork in preparation for migrating from Envision to EnvisionConnect later this year. I am anxiously looking forward to taking advantage of some of the new tools such as the Learning Management System for training staff and the more robust field inspection module that have been added since my last experience with EnvisionConnect.
In closing, I am pleased to say that even though Decade Software Company has grown considerably over the years, their dual commitment to continual product improvement and individual customer service has not changed and I look forward to using EnvisionConnect for years to come."
